Academics' Paper on Israel Lobby Blasted by Israel Lobby  by

Associated Press writer, Jay Lindsay re-blasted the now infamous academic paper criticizing the Israel Lobby. Acting as cover-editor pro temp, and citing a blast from nebulous vectors, he amplified the blast by prefacing the paper with a gushing review by David Duke.

Lindsay presented the platonic finger trap that Stephen Walt and John Mearshimer are inextricably bound to David Duke for publishing that "pro-Israel special interest groups have manipulated the the U.S." into setting policies that constitute international welfare payments for countries unable to wage war on their own.  The argument is not obscure, but to print it is forbidden under various Sanhedrin rulings.  Lindsay has portrayed the paper as getting accolades only from Nazis and receiving abuse and intellectual poundings from the rest of the academic world, i.e. Alan Dershowitz.

The paper titled "The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy" was published on the John F. Kennedy Skool of Government Web site late last month, prompting people to blow Ewok calls on their Shofars, call for firings, and to set up trust funds to educate a generation of Yeshiva students to tie this paper into a black box, wear it on their heads, and dedicate themselves to polemic dialectics to be issued at the Western Wall of the JFK Skool for the next 2000 years.

The ADL's Abe Foxman promptly condemned the paper as being "classic" and a "canard" (which is French for duck).  He stopped short of proclaiming it "unacceptable," and did not issue the order "revoco."  Their sister organization, the JDL has not decided to kill any Congressmen yet.  Barnes and Noble has not been called yet to stock Dershowitz' rebuttal on the shelves before the other paper hits the Harvard Press.

Alan Dershowitz came up with the "David Duke" diss, and Jay Lindsay of AP copied it down furiously.  Lindsay repeated that Kennedy Skool is embarassed, and stopped just short of insinuating that Kennedy Skool would see a drop in stock price, or that Jews would leave the Kennedy Skool in mass exodus.  For now they are still accredited, but one double-door will be removed from the Passover list this year.

The dean of the Kennedy Skool, David Ellwood said the paper should sink or swim in the marketplace of ideas.  When he said "marketplace" a few people got boners and began a boycott planning committee.

Mearsheimer predicted that anyone who openly criticizes the Israel Lobby runs the risk of being called an anti-semite.  So people called him an anti-semite for saying that.  Walt on the other hand didn't want to talk to anybody.

Lindsay was careful to describe the contents of the paper with prefaces like "the author's contend,"  "some folks say," and "one might be inclined to believe."  He wore rubber globes while handling the paper, and it is not known yet if the paper will be conferred to the Nizkor Project to be held as evidence for when the sky falls and man is held to judgement in the rebuilt Temple of Jerusalem.

Lindsay did list a few of the claims of the paper, promptly following them up with another accolade from David Duke.  It was good Mal Sharpe editing.  He covered his ass by printing a disclaimer by Mearshimer that David Duke is a wanker.

Dershowitz peed on the paper for a while, which is undocumented evidence that he is housebroken.  Dershowitz is still busy ripping Norman Finkelstein's new book, regrinding thicker lenses, and threatening various lawsuits.  He declaimed "academic freedom," saying that papers criticizing Israel are not academic and no one possesses such freedom, he, a lawyer, being the arbiter of such judgements.

Lindsay follwed up by quoting Ellwood as saying Kennedy Skool can't be expected to have quality control.  And neither can AP.
